Are you voting on Thursday?
There's elections in most places and of course the London Mayoral election too.

Do you actually vote or not? If not why not?

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
I always vote, partly because growing up in Australia I'm used to it being compulsory
In the mayoral election I'd vote that the position is abolished as political labour vs liberal thing and a proper competent professional is appointed. After a review as to whether the position is needed at all. You'd think not given that Johnson hasn't done anything in the role since becoming an MP.

The two major candidates are dismal and I wouldn't put either in charge of a WHELK stall.

Only have Police Crime Commissioner election, can't even be bothered to spoil my ballot.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
Hadn't voted for about 20 years, seems like all MPs are ordered to never ever answer a question with a straight yes or no but to spout as much drivel as possible and confuse/ bore the listeners.

UKIP this time, seem more straight talking than the rest even if sometimes it's not that PC.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
The new Mayor of London will be a sitting MP. I expect him on taking office to resign his Westminster seat and do a real mayoral job unlike the departing buffoon.

Johnson has been a disaster in the role by proving that there really is no need for Mayor of London. Whoever gets in I fervently hope that he makes it into a real job and not a buffoon vehicle.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
I won't be voting on Thursday (essex council elections) as the main parties are all cunts.

It's like they don't want me to vote for them and they spend time and effort making themselves unelectable.

You won't catch me in a polling station. I've already voted by proxy.

Go me.

Are you going to do a Kronic and draw a big penis on your ballot paper, before posting it?

If it was a vote between Haddock or Cod, I'd choose Haddock every time, I just prefer it.

Sub I dint think you mean proxy. That's someone else voting on the day on your behalf.

Do you mean postal?

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
I don't think there is much cod left in the oceans. Maybe you should reconsider your decision and enjoy said fish whilst it lasts.

What's your favourite fish Queens fish bar?

I will eat cod only if they don't serve haddock or plaice.

Postal vote is a vote 'by proxy'.

More importantly, cod or haddock.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
No as I get the train at 6.11am and am going to the backyard comedy club after work Thursday.

Probably be the first time in my legal 23 years of voting I haven't.

Imagine the Tories will still get back in, as they're 100 times better than when we had Labour and their bin collecting every two weeks.

I'm a simple creature, that's all I care about really!!

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
Actually I think I'm going to spoil my paper.

Just got till Thursday to work out exactly what would be the most I appropriate and funny picture I can think of.

I'm a decent artist so might be a fully shaded picture or a simple phallus.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
What, for the PCC election?

Yeah, i'm not gonna be bothering with that shit. Not unless there is a candidate with the surname 'Gordon' so if he wins Batman might show up.

Because that's how ridiculous these positions are.
